I am a lifelong resident of Frederick county. A graduate of the University of Maryland. A former farm owner, specializing in horses. My avocation in life is organizing, running, judging and announcing for horse shows throughout the year.

I am a former board member and executive of the Maryland Horse Council, a member of the Frederick County Equine Alliance, on the board of the Friends of the Walkersville Library, a life member of the Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the FMH Good Samaritans.

I have volunteered over the years for the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, the 4H, Frederick Boys and Girls Club, the Frederick Pony Club, the Girl Scouts and been active with the St John The Evangelist Adult choir.
