Personal Profile

David lives and works on his 106-acre farm in Thurmont, MD. He has an array of pets, including his St. Bernard, Sampson, Labrador named Gus, Rascal the cat and two horses.

David loves everything that comes with living on 106 acres! Hawkins Landscaping also has a recycling program for organic materials and David enjoys screening topsoil, making compost, and cutting firewood.

David has two children, David III and Christine as well as three adorable grandchildren, David IV, For and Madeleine. David III and his wife Kristi also work with David at Hawkins Landscaping. Christina is a special agent with the FBI. David’s fiancée, Carol, recently came back to work at Hawkins Landscaping.

David’s hobbies and interests include, playing with his grandchildren, NASCAR, gardening, car clubs, and anything that goes fast!

He his also very involved in his church ministries such as driving a bus to pick up members to take to and from church, facilities maintenance, men’s groups and other seminars.
