Weekend Library Events

The Walkersville Library is hosting 2 adult-oriented events this weekend:

On Saturday, November 18 at 11am, The Flying Barrel, a local brew house in Frederick, will be at the library to guide homebrewers of all levels in the process of crafting their own beverages. They’ll share valuable tips and tricks, offering a unique opportunity to learn from experienced brewers and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

The following day, Sunday, November 19 at 1pm, indulge in an event that combines passions for food, fashion, and animal rescue. Sample an array of teas with Paulella Birchill, the local author of “Tea for Every Occasion,” while savoring perfectly paired cakes from Brick Block Cakes. Browse through a curated selection of vintage clothing generously donated to Fetch Thrift Shop, where all net proceeds directly support local rescue efforts, including finding “forever homes” and providing essential care for animals in need.
